Extra Help, Links, and Resources

As the Beetles told us, sometimes we all need "A little help from our friends."

You can ask for help. You can search for help. You can use these resources to get extra help. There's also the RTS Cheat Sheets which are filled with ways to work smarter not harder. And don't forget the SKILLS Videos that have been made to help you when you are home and struggling to remember how to do stuff.

And if you can't find what you need here ... please use the Contact Form and ask me directly for help. Just remember I'm old, and probably am in bed early. But I may be able to get you an answer first thing in the morning ...

Other Help

There is more help for grammar and especially for all things MLA -- that means how to add quotations, add citations, and create a Works Cited page at the end of your paper. You'll find all this helpful stuff at the Purdue University site called the Purdue Owl. Try this link for MLA help.

Or try this link for grammar help also from the fine folk over at Purdue OWL.

For Reading

Students are encouraged to visit any of the many online student help sites when reading a book. Remember, though, you can visit, but you can't copy ideas or quotes from these websites without adding citations! That's cheating and you get no credit for that at all.

But it's not cheating to get help reading your texts. That's Research, and you get extra credit for that! That means whatever you are reading, you can check out what you can find from these websites:

     Enotes.com            Sparknotes.com

     Shmoop.com         literary-devices.com

     Cliffnotes.com

"Hugging Quotes" -- that is, with adding quotes

into the essays you write.  It's not just getting

a citation added, but knowing how to add a

quote, and what to do before and after it.

Check out your extra help for hugging here:
